Current Events Roundtable
Come for a lively discussion where Democrats-Republicans-Independents come together to voice their opinions or just listen to the current events of the day.  Moderated by Dr. Suzanne Cahnmann of "Cahnmann's Current Events Roundtable" of Channel 19 cable television.

Sherlock Holmes Discussion Group
Add some mystery to your life and join the Sherlock Holmes study group every other month at the library.... Sit around our fireplace, drink some coffee, while reviewing one of Dr. Watson's favorite "Sherlock" stories.

Prenatal Group Class
This class meets from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. 
on Tuesdays (except holidays) to discuss issues related to pregnancy such as nutrition, relaxation, and other topics. Please see the events calendar for specific dates. 

Baby and Me
This class meets from 12:00 p.m. -1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays (except for school district 112 and 113 days off).

HPL Caring Through Crafting Club
Adult Crafting is a twice a month program offered on the first and last Saturday of the month from 2:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Our goal for this program is to provide adults with a creative outlet through crafting. A craft is selected for each gathering; past offerings range were crochet and decorating flipflops.

Adult Art Program

Have a great time learning a new skill.
Adult art classes will meet every Saturday begining May 18th. Classes are from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
For ages 18 years or older. Please bring your own canvas.

Preparing to take the U.S. citizenship test? Let Mano a Mano Resource Center help.
Citizenship classes take place every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and every Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Free Hand-Crafts for Children
The Together for Childhood Network meets the first Tuesday of every other month to provide food, handcrafts, raffles and games for children.  The program starts at 6:00 pm and runs until 7:30.  All children are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  For more information contact Martina at 847-630-1273.

Family Movie Night
Held every last Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m.
