Volunteer At The Library

Volunteers play a vital role at the  Highwood Public Library.  With over 3,500 attending free programs and over 31,500 visitors every year, our volunteers are the life force of our services. From tutoring adults and ESL learners to helping children learn new skills or hobbies, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re available on a weekly basis or only a few times a year. Apply today and help HPL build healthy families and vibrant neighborhoods.

We encourage interested members of the community to apply for volunteer positions.  Interested candidates must complete a volunteer application and will be interviewed for areas of interest and fit for the organization. Applications are available in person at the library or you can fill out our online form at the link below.
