Volunteer At The Library

Volunteers play a vital role at Highwood Library & Community Center (HLCC).  With over 15,700 attending free programs and over 51,200 visitors every year, our volunteers are the life force of our services. From tutoring adults and ESL learners to helping children learn new skills or hobbies, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re available on a weekly basis or only a few times a year. Apply today and help HLCC build healthy families and vibrant neighborhoods.

We encourage interested members of the community to apply for volunteer positions.  Interested candidates must complete a volunteer application and will be interviewed for areas of interest and fit for the organization.
