End of School Celebration & Summer Reading Kick-Off: Level Up! • Celebración de Fin de Año Escolar y Lanzamiento del Programa de Lectura de Verano: ¡Subir de Nivel!

Throughout the day, each family member will be able to enjoy games and interactive activities, learn about our programs, greet our friendly staff, and sign up for the Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme, “Level Up at Your Library!”, invites everyone to grow through play. Whether it’s solving puzzles, building something new, exploring STEM topics, or discovering great books, there’s something for everyone. The Summer Reading Program is a great way to stay active, strengthen reading skills, and enjoy all the library has to offer this summer.

Bring your family and friends and help us kick off an unforgettable summer at HLCC!

Ice Cream Social | 1:30–3:00 PM

Start the party with a delicious dessert on the patio. Enjoy ice cream, relax, and celebrate all your hard work throughout the school year.

Crafts | 3:30–5:30 PM

Head over to our Kids and Teens areas for creative activities and fun.

Movie | 6:00 PM

End the day with a movie. Invite friends over, grab a snack, and relax.

Adults: Stop by the circulation desk to pick up your Summer Reading Game Card. Complete reading challenges and activities at each stop along the way. Each step will bring you closer to fun prizes and a chance to win a grand prize at the end of the summer!

Durante todo el día, cada miembro de la familia podrá disfrutar juegos y actividades interactivas, conocer nuestros programas, saludar a nuestro amable personal y registrarse para el Programa de Lectura de Verano. El tema de este año, ¡Subir de Nivel en su Biblioteca!, invita a todos a crecer a través del juego. Ya sea resolviendo rompecabezas, construyendo algo nuevo, explorando temas STEM o descubriendo excelentes libros, hay algo para todos. El Programa de Lectura de Verano es una excelente manera de mantenerse activo, fortalecer las habilidades de lectura y disfrutar todo lo que la biblioteca ofrece este verano.

Social de Helado | 1:30–3:00 PM

Manualidades | 3:30–5:30 PM

Pase a nuestras áreas de Niños y Adolescentes para crear y divertirse con actividades creativas.

Película | 6:00 PM

Termine el día con una película. Invite a sus amistades, tome un refrigerio y relájese.

Adultos: pase por el mostrador de circulación para recoger su tarjeta de juego de lectura de verano. Complete retos de lectura y actividades en cada parada del camino. ¡Cada paso lo acercará más a premios divertidos y a la oportunidad de ganar un gran premio al final del verano!
